Friday in biology we:

• Got Chapter 36 guided reading: 36-1 due Monday, 36-2 due Day 2
• Finished up the senses lab and turned it into the box

Day 3 in Biology

Day 3 in biology we:

• Turned in Chapter 35 Guided reading to the box
• Took the nervous system notes
• Started the senses lab (see Miss H for the info)

Day 2(Tue or Wed in biology)

Hope everyone had a really nice three day weekend. Today in biology we:

• Got chapter 35 guided reading, due day 3
• Watched "The Universe Within". You DO need to make this video up and turn something in, so see me to check out the video. Video sheet is not online but is in the make-up work box.
• Turned in video notes at the end of the period

Monday and Day 2

On Monday we began our presentations on Animal Phyla and TURNED IN OUR BOOKS! YAY!

On day 2, we will continue with our presentations and hand out the "earthworm dissection prep work" due Day 3 at the beginning of class.

There will be a "quizzam" on Friday over the animal phyla, and note cards will not be used.

New Info! We will begin presentations on Monday so that you can use the half-day Friday to work on your book and finish your PPT!

Day 3 in Biology

• LRC work time for the Animal Phyla PowerPoint assignment
• PowerPoints due at the beginning of the period Friday. Some people will present on Friday, some will present on Monday!
• Photosynthesis/Respiration Children's Book on Monday

Day 2 in biology

Day 2 we:

• Took notes- Kingdom animalia
• Assigned the animal phylum powerpoint project- partners are assigned, so see me for your partners-due Friday
• Book projects are due Monday!

BOOK DUE DATE!

The book project is due on Monday May 19th! That is next Monday!

Day 3 in Biology

Day 3 we:

• Stamped 9-1 guided reading
• Remember: 9-2 guided reading is due on Friday
• We did the Elodea and Yeast respiration lab- see Ms. H to make this up

Day 2 In biology

Today in Biology we:

• Took notes on cellular respiration
• reminder- 9-1 is due day 3 and 9-2 is due Friday
• Started the Chemistry assignment, due at the beginning of class day 3
• Signed up for a partner/theme for the book projects
• I handed out the lab we are doing on Day 3-please just read so that you will know what we are doing FIRST THING. The lab will take all period and you won't have time to figure out what is going on if you haven't read the lab.

Monday May 5th!

Today in Biology we:

• Were handed out the Chapter 9 guided reading. 9-1 is due day 3 and 9-2 is Monday.
• Watched "The Wonderful World of Dung" (no need to make up)
• Book project will be due Friday May 16th- be sure you are thinking of ideas and choosing a partner first thing this week!
