On day 2, we will continue with our presentations and hand out the "earthworm dissection prep work" due Day 3 at the beginning of class.

Took intro to plants notes. These are on a large concept map and not online, so come see me to get the map and you can get the notes from a friend.

I passed back the Tri-Lakes conclusions from Monday, graded.

I passed out chapter 22 guided reading- 22-1 and 22-2 are due day 3

We got some reminders about all of the things we need to put on our WASL/PCA (see "Scoring rubric" for more details. This was a review but also good to check.

PCAs are due at the end of the period day 3.

Hello and welcome back from spring break!

We are right back into the swing of things-wasl schedule this TUE, WED, THURS, FRI.
On Monday we turned in a group copy of the FINAL FINAL (the one to be graded by Ms. H) conclusion for the Tri-Lakes Problem.

After that, we worked on one of the two PCAs for the science WASL: Aquarium Systems OR What's your Angle. Please find these documents off to the side and turn into the box when finished.

On Friday we watched the coolest movie: "The Unknown Universe" highlighting microphotography (an intrest of mine) and really showing you what modern microscopy can do! Enjoy!

Today and yesterday in biology we looked at protists in pond water under the microscope. There was also a small lab sheet that went along with it (not online, in the make-up work box). All other available time was spent on reviewing for the test on Tue./Wed. of next week!

Chapters 19-20, review all notes, guided readings, labs- there is also a review that I will make available online on Monday. Sorry for the delay!

When you present, it's only going to be 3-4 minutes. Focus the majority of your work on a quality paper. A few photos and a diagram on a PowerPoint or poster work just fine for your visual.

We are finishing up our virus notes on Monday, learning about Protists and trying a vocab whiteboard challenge! Your LRC work day is Tuesday and your presentations are Wednesday.
